In 2025, we are thrilled to announce that there will be 2 more retreat experiences hosted by Bree Brown in Caye Caulker, Belize. The first retreat is scheduled in MARCH from Thursday, March 13th-Tuesday, March 18th, 2025. The second retreat is scheduled in MAY from Thursday, May 1st-Tuesday, May 6th, 2025.

If you opted for the "Deposit Only" option, you are agreeing to our standard, 6-month payment plan of six equal payments until your balance is paid in full. For the March '25 retreat, payment plans begin on September 1st and end on February 15th. For the May '25 retreat, payment plans begin on November 1st and finish on April 15th. Life happens, if you need to customize your own payment plan, please CONTACT US to make those arrangements. Please note that deposits are non-refundable at the time of purchase. Upon payment of the deposit, your room is reserved for you until the balance is paid in full.

We recently launched this third payment option to offer more flexibility when making your monthly payments. By choosing the "Flexi Pay" option, you pay a smaller deposit at the time of registration and can enjoy a fully-customizable payment schedule until the balance is paid in full. Each month, a payment must be made towards the balance; however, you are in total control of how much you pay. For the March '25 retreat, the balance must be paid in full by February 15th, 2025. For the May '25 retreat, the balance must be paid in full by March 15th, 2025. Please note that with the "Flexi Pay" option, the deposit is non-refundable at the time of purchase.

If you opt for the "pay in full" option, your spot in the retreat is confirmed. There's nothing more for you to do except to begin looking for flights for the retreat. A few documents will be signed prior to the retreat including your dining preferences & the liability waiver form.

PAY IN FULL POLICY - If you select this option, you can cancel anytime before December 1st for a 75% refund. - If you cancel between December 1st and January 31st, you will receive a 50% refund. -If you cancel between February 1st and February 15th, only a 25% refund will be granted. -Any cancellations made after February 15th are only entitled to (up to) a 15% refund but remain at the sole discretion of The L.E.A.P. Retreat Team. DEPOSIT ONLY POLICY - Deposits are non-refundable. - If you have begun your payment plan and cancel between September 1st and November 1st, you will receive a 75% refund on payments made but your deposit remains non-refundable. - If you have begun your payment plan and cancel between November 1st and December 31st, you will receive a 50% refund on payments made but your deposit remains non-refundable. - If you have begun your payment plan and cancel between January 1st and February 15th, only a 25% refund will be granted and your deposit remains non-refundable. -Any cancellations made after February 15th are only entitled to (up to) a 15% refund but remains at the sole discretion of The L.E.A.P. Flight Delays/Cancellations In the event of a flight cancellation, delay or any unforeseen circumstances that would otherwise inhibit your participation in The Retreat, you are only entitled to a 15% refund (excluding deposit) determined solely at the discretion of Bree Brown & The Retreat.

This retreat is specifically curated for Black women who are 21+ years old. Although we would love to include spouses and children, this is not a couples nor a family retreat; rather, an exclusive opportunity for our retreat sisters to build lifelong bonds with one another while taking full advantage of all of the spiritual wellness opportunities that we are offering.

Yes of course! You will each need to register for the retreat separately and select your preferred Standard Double or 2BD Suite Retreat Package. At checkout, there's an allotted area for you to note the name of the person with whom you'd like to share a room.

Unfortunately, no. The Premium Deluxe, Deluxe Single & Standard Single retreat packages are specifically intended for only ONE retreat participant. These are the regulations of the hotel and as such, we must abide by them.

Testing upon entry into or exiting Belize has stopped and is no longer required. Vaccinations are NOT required for entry into Belize.

Upon leaving the Belize City airport, you will be responsible for securing your own cab ride to the San Pedro Belize Express dock. There are many authorized cab drivers waiting immediately upon exiting the airport and they will gladly take you directly to the water taxi! Yes, they can be trusted and yes you will be safe. Most times, our retreat sisters share a cab so it's rare for anyone to ever ride alone. The cab ride averages $35-$50USD (cash only) each way, so please come prepared with cash on hand.

YES! Although we have a robust retreat itinerary, we've also carved out some time each day for our retreat sisters to do their own exploring of the island, shopping at local craft stores and connecting with the locals who make this place so special.

Although most major credit cards (Visa & Mastercard) are accepted around the island, there are a few places that are strictly cash only. Also, most of the local craft stores and local vendors only accept cash along with the fruit stands and smoothie spots. USD are accepted everywhere on the island, so please come with cash on hand. There are also 2 ATMs on the island that dispense Belizean dollars in the event that you need a few extra dollars.

You'll be pleased to know that the exchange rate is quite generous with a 2:1 ratio. Meaning, $1USD = $2 Belizean dollars.

Great question! English is the primary language spoken in Belize; however, Spanish and Creole are very commonly used among the locals.
